If you have dark hair the best way to get rid of it is Laser hair removal, this involves a pluse of light that targets the root of the hair and "cooks" the blood supply to the folicle. the dead hair falls out 14 days later and that hair will never grow again, however laser can only kill dark hair that is actively growing, so it takes 8-12 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. After that because our bodys change as we age I would say - expect to go in for a touch up 1-2 times a year but it does work I have done my legs, lip, bikini arms and underarms. BUT if the hair is light or blonde try electrolysis, it is more expensive and time consuming so I never did that, and since I do have some blonde hairs left after laser treatments I just get those waxed every 2 months or so.

the best thing i would suggest is to let it grow as long as possible then get laser treatment as my friend did it and now she looks hair free, on the face obviously, lol.

I have the same problem and I already had about 6-7 laser hair removal sessions ($100.00) each visit.... and I'm still struggling with it. I stop going but it looks like in the summer the hair grows more. it has helped some but still need some more treatment and more $$.
