(Also it helps to have a well defined chin for scruffyness to look cool.)

On some men, it's absolutely gorgeous. On others, not so nice. It all depends on how unkempt it is. There's sexy scruffy (which is usually short and somewhat controlled) and then there's scary scruffy.
